Franciscan 2, Bethany 0
Starting XI
Zachary Muldoon, Kolbe Rice, Joseph St. George, Augustine Rubino, Anthony Venditti, Jonathan Schriner, Julien Freeman, Joshua Atkinson, Lucas Cross, Ryan Miller, & Goalkeeper - Aiden Miller Â
How It HappenedÂ
Joe St. George got an early goal off a Schriner assist to pu the Barons up 1-0. The Bison made sinking in on defense and protecting the lead difficult. Their athleticism kept Miller active in net. He made several critical saves to hold the Bison to zero and help get the Barons to their seventh shutout this season.Â
  Mid-way through the second half
Julien Freeman scored his fourth goal of the year to put the Barons up to and all but ensuring a victory.Â
In the 8 wins this season, Franciscan has only allowed their opponents two goals total. On many occasions the Barons have proved just how potent their offense can be, but it's becoming clear that when the unit is working together and focusing on defending it is near impossible to score goals on them.
Inside the Numbers Â
-Schriner's assist is his 5th on the year
-R. Miller assisted on Freeman's goal for his fifth assist on the year
-A. Miller recorded 6 saves in his 7th shutout
