Franciscan Women's Cross Country made the trip out west to Muskingum on Saturday morning with 16 runners. Three Barons would place in the Top 10 with a very strong showing by the whole team.
Anne O'Boyle posted a season-best time while placing seventh to lead the way for the Barons.
Annie Seida did the same while finishing just behind her in eighth.
Grace Sheets shattered her collegiate-best time by nearly 40 seconds, as she had her best finish of the season in 10th.
MaryElizabeth Savage kept up the fast day for the Barons with a PR in 12th place, and
Isabella Barnett did the same just three seconds behind her while beating her best time by 20 seconds.Â
That would give Franciscan 45 points just thirteen points behind the hosts, Muskingum, who won the team title today.

Franciscan will make the trip to Wilmington for the JennaStrong Fall Classic on Friday, October 18th. This will be the second season in a row that Barons compete in this large event. Several of the top teams from the NCAA Great Lakes Region will be present, as it will be a good opportunity to see how they stack up against the best.
