How It Happened
Franciscan would host Penn State Behrend for their home opener on a very windy day in Steubenville. The Lions would not waste time, as they put up a crooked number in the first with eight runs to take control of this one. The Barons would get on the board in the sixth when Urbanczyk reached first on an error as Samule Tyler would score.

How It Happened
The Barons would be fighting from behind in game two, as the Lions were able to get on the board early in this one. The Barons would put up three runs in the fourth.
Wade Stoehr would knock in
John Hall. Urbanczyk would drive in Stoehr on a groundout, and then Falconite would score ona wild pitch. It would be all Behrend from there, as they would take advantage of fielding miscues to win this one.
At the Plate
- Franciscan had three hits.
- The Barons drew three walks.
- The Lions had 21 hits.
On the Mound
- Cavalieri went two innings with a pair of strikeouts.
