How It Happened
Franciscan returned to action after a week break at Westminster on Wednesday night. The Titans would remain unbeaten in PAC play, as they would defend their home field.
The Titans would control the ball for the first thirty minutes, as they out-shot the Barons 38-13 in the first half. They would score the first seven goals of this game before Joseph James netted his first of the day on an assist from Nathaniel Carter. James would add four more goals in the second half, and Carter would add one of his own, but the Barons would not be able to overcome the large deficit from the opening half.
Inside the Numbers
- James scored five goals on 16 shots.
- Miraglia had four ground balls.
- Vale tied his career-best with 27 saves. His 335 saves is third most in program history and just 13 shy of jumping into second all-time.
- The Barons were two for three on extra-man opportunities
