Race Highlights
Franciscan Men's Cross Country took on an 8K course for the first time this season, and they represented well with a second place finish at the PAC Preview.
Andrew Madigan led the way for the Barons once again, as he placed fourth. His time of 26:41.3 was just nine seconds off his best collegiate 8K.
Miguel Daez placed 12th, as he steadily looks to improve after taking a year off last season.
Conal Delaney was right behind him, as he adjusted well to the normal 8K format. Sophomore
Seamus Sommers placed 17th in what looks to be a great start to his second season. Rounding out the top five would be
Ryan Ozymy, as he beat his personal best time by more than a minute.Â
Geneva led the way with 33 points. Franciscan with 66 points were able to beat the reigning champions from Saint Vincent. They would have 69 points in third with their leader Tim Patterson taking home the individual title.Â

Franciscan will return to action at the All-Ohio Challenge on September 20th. This will be a large race with several of the top teams in the Great Lakes Region, as it will be a great early look at where the Barons rank in the Region.
Kelly Roggensack Memorial Races
The Annual Kelly Roggensack Memorial Races will take place for the 17th time in its history, once again kicking off a busy Saturday on Homecoming Weekend. The races will begin at 8 am on
September 28th, 2024, with the 1K Kids Fun Run followed by the 5K Run & 3K Walk at 8:20 am.Â
