Short Story: Several PAC Schools get a preview of the PAC Championship Course, as Barons place third out of nine teams present.

Race Highlights
Franciscan Women's Cross Country continued their strong start to the 2024 season with a third place finish at the PAC Preview. Coach Dr. Dan Kuebler traveled 27 women to compete on the chilly morning in New Castle, Pennsylvania. 

Lauren Dosch led the way for the Barons with a time of 24:23.2 in their first 6K race of the year. Jessica Campbell would also place in the Top 10, at tenth, with a time of 24:42.1. Claire Walters had a very fast start to the race with Franciscan's fastest mile time to start, and she placed 13th with a time of 24:53.4. Not far behind her would be Emily Maag in 17th, as she continues her great start to her collegiate career. Then rounding out the top five finishers for the Barons would be Madison Gallagher in 23rd. 

Reigning PAC Newcomer of the Week, Grace Neubert, from Saint Vincent would take the individual title, as she helped the Bearcats take the team title as well. Defending PAC Champions, Grove City, had 49 points to fall seven points shy of the leaders. Franciscan would place third with a team score of 66.

Franciscan will return to competition on Friday, August 20th, as they head to Cedarville for the All-Ohio Challenge. This will be a goo early look to see where the Barons rank among several of the top teams in the Great Lakes Region. 

Kelly Roggensack Memorial Races
The Annual Kelly Roggensack Memorial Races will take place for the 17th time in its history, once again kicking off a busy Saturday on Homecoming Weekend. The races will begin at 8 am on September 28th, 2024, with the 1K Kids Fun Run followed by the 5K Run & 3K Walk at 8:20 am. Click here for more info and signup
