Race Highlights
Franciscan made the trip to Louisville over the weekend, as they competed in the 6K blue race among runners from all Divisions. Over 400 runners took on the course. The Barons will return to this same course in November for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional. 

Rivers led the way for the Barons with a new career-best time of 23:42.3. to place 98th. Mary Worden was not far behind her, as she placed 121st. Emily Maag placed in 191st, as she was the third fastest Baron. Senior Anne O'Boyle ran her best collegiate race, as she posted a time of 25:05.5. Rounding out the top five was Clara Gross with a season-best time. 

The Barons placed 32nd overall. Kennesaw State won overall, and Trine was the fastest Divsion III team in attendance, as they placed second.

Location: New Concord, Ohio
Short Story: Barons place 5th at Muskingum in a small meet

Race Highlights
Margaret Delaney led the Barons at the smaller meet with a 22nd place finish among the 60 runners. Seida was right behind her in 23rd. Gianna Earl and Madeline Kramer placed 27th and 29th. Mary Kennedy rounded out the top five with a 31st place finish. 

Franciscan placed 5th out of the six teams in attendance. Case Western won with 22 points.

Up Next
Franciscan will return to action in two weeks at Oberlin. The Barons are quite familiar with this course, as they will compete in the Inter-Regional Rumble. They last ran their in the 2022 season. Several of the best teams in the Great Lakes Region will be in attendance, as this will be the last regular season meet of the season.
