Race Highlights
Franciscan Women's Cross Country made the trip up to Allegheny to compete in the PAC Championships. The Barons had four players finish in the top 18, as their talented depth was on display in a third place finish.
Mary Worden continued her amazing, freshman campaign with an 8th place finish to lead the Barons. Not far behind her was
Francesca Rivers in 11th. Theresa Meli was less than 20 seconds behind Rivers to place 16th, and Maag placed 18th.
Anne O'Boyle rounded out the top five finishers in 24th.Â
That resulted in 77 points to placed third. W&J and Geneva tied for first with 59 points, as they took home the Co-Championship. Geneva's Carmen Medvit crossed the finish line first to earn the individual title.

Up Next
Franciscan will now have two weeks to prepare for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional meet which will be held in Louisville. This will be the Barons second trip to Louisville this season. Hopefully, the Barons familiarity with the course will pay off with a strong showing on Saturday, November 15th. Last season, this meet was in Indiana, and the Barons placed 15th out of 39 teams in attendance.Â
