The Latest
- Grove City got the better of Franciscan in this year's PAC Championship rematch, coming away with a 1-0 victory
- The Barons had more shots on goal and several close attempts, but ultimately couldn't find the net
- Despite the loss, they earned their fourth ECAC tournament appearance

Scouting the Marlins
- Virginia Wesleyan finished 5th in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, with a 12-5-1 overall record and a 6-3 conference record
- The Marlins lost in the quarterfinal round of the ODAC tournament to Bridgewater College
- The ODAC had three teams make the NCAA tournament for the first time ever, but Virginia Wesleyan did not make the cut
- Senior forward Zach Bittler led the Marlins with nine goals and 22 points
- These two teams have never faced each other before

ECAC History
- The Barons have made the ECAC tournament three times before
- They have gone 1-3 in their previous appearances
- In 2017, they fell to Grove City 2-1 in overtime
- In 2018, they lost to Stevenson 3-0
- In 2023, they secured their first ECAC win against Pitt-Greensburg 1-0
- Lucas Cross scored the lone goal for the Barons in that game
- They lost the following game against Penn State Behrend

Award Winners
- The All-PAC teams this year were filled with Barons 
- Lucas Cross earned First Team honors for the third consecutive year
- Aidan Henninger joined him on the First Team, his second All-PAC honor after getting Second Team in 2023
- Zachary Muldoon earned his second straight Second Team All-PAC honors
- Augustine Rubino earned Second Team for the third time in his career. He became the seventh player in program history to receive all-conference honors four consecutive times, as he also earned Honorable Mention last season
- Anthony Venditti received Honorable Mention, his first All-PAC honors
- Andrew Goduti joined him on Honorable Mention in his first collegiate season

Storied Careers
- By playing and starting in Saturday's game, Augustine Rubino will move into a tie for third all-time in games played and fifth all-time in games started at Franciscan
- Lucas Cross will also move into a tie for third all-time in games played
- Aidan Henninger will move into a tie for ninth all-time in games played

Cross Tracker
- With this ECAC berth, Lucas Cross has the opportunity to move further up the record books
- With his game-winner against Bethany, Cross passed Nick Miller '22 for second all-time in game-winning goals. He now sits with 15 career game-winners, trailing Herrmann with 16
- With his 50 career goals, Cross has moved into a tie for seventh place all-time in PAC history
- He is second in the PAC in goals with 13 and third in total points with 29

Miller Time
- Junior goalie Aiden Miller also has the opportunity to move up the record books this season
- He has tied Brian Gaughan 21' for second all-time with 27 wins, trailing Jax Mautone '23 for first with 32
- Miller sits second all-time in shutouts with 15. He trails Mautone with 16 for first place.
