The Latest
- Franciscan clinched a spot in the PAC Championship Tournament with their 66-63 win over Westminster on Saturday. Sawyer Butler led all scorers with 26 points and added four steals in this pivotal contest.

- The Barons have clinched a winning season as well, but they aspire for more in the 2024-25 season. They currently sit in the 6th seed for the PAC Championship Tournament, but they can play their way up to the #5 seed. Either way, they will play in a PAC Quarterfinal on the road next Tuesday.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
- Waynesburg beat Franciscan in overtime in early January, and it looked like they would be a playoff team for sure. Since that moment they went 1-9 to fall out of playoff contention, but they still look to finish out the season strong.

- Antone Baker leads them in scoring at 16.4 ppg. Over his last seven games, he is averaging 21.7 ppg, as the graduate student is looking to end his collegiate career on a high note.

- The Barons are looking for their first win over Waynesburg at home since the 2021-22 season. The Barons won that game 84-74 behind 24 points from Josh Zimmerman.

Sawyer' Sophomore Season
- Sawyer Butler leads the Barons at 19.0 ppg which is second-best in the PAC this season.

- He has scored 438 points this season, which is the third-most scored by a Baron in a season. Sean Hickey scored the second-most in the 2021-22 season with 489 points.

- He has already claimed a program record with 116 made free throws this season, and his 210 made free throws already in his career is the fourth most by a Baron. As a team, the Barons have not excelled from the charity stripe, but Butler has been steady at 84.7%, fourth-best in the PAC this season.

The Rebounding Battle
- The Barons are second in the PAC with a +3.6 rebounding margin and second in offensive rebounds per game at 15.0, both of which are improvements from last season.

- Travis Zimmerman has been a big part of this improvement. He leads the Barons in rebounding at 7.3 rpg with 3.4 rebounds coming from the offensive end each night.

- The Barons have won the rebounding battle in 10 of their 14 wins this season.

Mr. Zimmerman Tracker
- Josh Zimmerman enters this game with 1,411 points, the sixth most by a Baron since they began play in 1947. He now looks to pass John Hummell '66, who is in 5th with 1,418 points. Sean Hickey '21 holds the Franciscan Division III record with 1,692 points, and Paul Brownlee '56 sits atop the all-time rankings with 2,433 points.
