How It Happened
Gettysburg came into this game with an 11-0 record to start the season, and the Barons gave them a test on Thursday. Pitching was the story for the Barons as Jeremy Sagun and Harold Gildehaus pitched very well. Sagun allowed two earned runs over six innings of work, and Fildehaus pitched three scoreless innings of relief while allowing just one hit. The Barons had their chances late in this game, as they left two runners on in the seventh and left them loaded in the eighth. 

At the Plate
- Bodie had three hits.
- Stoehr had a pair of hits. 
- Gettysburg had the lone extra-base hit which was a double.

On the Mound  
- Sagun allowed seven hits over six innings while striking out a pair.
- Gildehaus attacked the zone with two strikeouts and no walks. 

Up Next 
The Barons wrap up their Florida trip with a doubleheader against Northwestern (MN) on Friday afternoon. This will be the first time that these teams play each other in varsity action.
