How It Happened
Bodie got the offense going in the first with an RBI single to left field that scored Ashcraft from second. Fusco made it a crooked number in the opening frame with a two-RBI triple to clear the bases with just one out. Killian then knocked him to raise the score to 4-0. The Barons batted around in the first, as Ashcraft drew a bases-loaded walk after leading off the inning with a hit. Falconite continued to two out offense with a bases-clearing triple and extended a massive first inning for the Franciscan bats. Shennago changed pitchers, but Bodie then ripped a double to left to score Falconite and extend the inning. After a bases-loaded walk, John Hall knocked in a pair with a single to opposite field.  The Barons gave Jonathan Perez 13 runs of support before he took the ball in the bottom of the first.

Perez put up a couple of zeros before the Baron bats put up another crooked number in the third. The Barons took advantage of a couple of errors by the Lions, as well as some timely hits. Up Next
The Barons will begin PAC play on the road on Saturday at Westminster. The Barons are 3-10 all-time against the Titans, as they look to snap a four-game skid against them this weekend. They will play a pair of nine inning games, as they will for all PAC doubleheaders this season. The Barons' last win in New Wilmington came in 2022 by a score of 14-9. Brendan Burke had four RBIs, as he was a home run shy of the cycle.
