How It Happened
The Barons bounced back in game two, as they earned their first win of the season while ending the Shoremen's win streak in a dramatic extra-inning game.

The Barons got to work in the first and took the lead. Wade Stoehr drove in Josiah Bodie to take the 1-0 edge. Washington tied it up in the home half of the first, but the Barons answered in the third. Ferroni singled in Stoehr to take the lead once again at 2-1. The Shoremen added one run in the third to knot it up again. In the fourth, Bodie drove in Franzonello on a sacrifice fly to take the lead once again. In the fifth, the Shoremen plated three runs to take the first multi-run lead of the evening.

In the sixth, the Barons took advantage of some wild pitching. Stoehr earned another RBI when he drew a bases loaded walk. Ferroni then singled in Armstrong to tie it up at 5-5, but the Barons were not finished. Fusco walked with the bases juiced, and then Stoehr scored on a wild pitch. The Barons then made it a five-run inning when Franzonello walked in Ferroni, and that gave the Barons an 8-5 advantage. Washington did not take long to respond, as they added three runs in the home half of the inning to tie it up at 8-8.

The Barons threatened in the seventh, as they had the winning run 90 feet away, but they were unable to get him home. That led to extra innings, as we headed into the eighth inning. Nicholas Peffer earned a one-out single, and then he stole second base. Peffer then showed off his speed, as he scored on a single from Armstrong to give the Barons a 9-8 edge. Stoehr remained in the game and shut it down in the bottom of the inning to earn his first win of the season.

At the Plate
- Ferroni had four hits with two RBIs.
- Bodie had three hits and scored three runs.
- Stoehr drove in a pair with one hit.
- Falconite and Franzonello each drew two walks.

On the Mound
- Perez went four and a third with four earned runs.
- Ashcraft pitched one and a third in relief.
- Stoehr pitched the final two and a third innings of scoreless ball while scattering four hits.
