The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced their women's lacrosse All-Conference awards on Thursday.
Gianna Dinoto (So. Pasadena, Md. / Mount De Sales Academy) and
Theresa Lyle (Sr. McMuray, Pa. / Seton LaSalle) both earned First Team All-PAC honors. This is the fifth time since 2019 that the Barons have had a pair of players named First Team in the same season.
Nadia Pinsonault (Fr. Landing, N.J. / Villa Walsh Academy) was named Honorable Mention All-PAC.
Dinoto played and started in 11 games this season while putting up 63 points. She scored 44 goals and added 19 assists with three game-winning goals. She accumulated 81 draw controls. In conference contests, her 8.25 draw controls per game was the best in the conference, and her 4.38 goals per game was second-best. She scored a career-high nine goals in the win over St. Vincent. Dinoto had 13 points in the win over Bethany, including a season-high eight assists.
This is the third-consecutive season that
Theresa Lyle earned All-PAC honors, but it is the first time that she was named to the First Team. She led the Barons with 64 points, 48 goals, and 54 ground balls this season. She also shared the team lead with Dinoto with 81 draw controls. She even showed her defensive prowess with 28 cause turnovers, the second-most of any Baron this season. She recorded a season-high nine goals with four goals and five assists while the Barons played a man-down for the entire game. Lyle scored multiple goals in 12 different games this season.
Pinsonault played and started in 14 games in her first collegiate season. She scored 23 goals and added five assists to have 28 points. 18 of her goals came in PAC contests. Her 52 draw controls were third most on the team this season. She also scooped up 26 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers. She is the first Franciscan freshman to earn All-PAC honors since Grace Deegan in 2019.
The PAC also announced the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Emmagrace Brierley was the Baron named to this exclusive team.
