NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released their Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll on Wednesday afternoon. There were just 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to be named as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The Franciscan Barons, under the direction of Coach Molly Lewis received this honor for the eleventh time in program history. They held an impressive 3.47 team GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.

The IWLCA also honored 1,286 student-athletes from 201 different institutions on the 2025 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. Franciscan was well represented on this list, as Maria De La Torre, Theresa Lyle, Sydney Naidu, and Kiera Wilson were named to the Honor Roll.
