Today's senior spotlight is
Abigail Parker, a three-year member of the Franciscan soccer team from Manitou Springs, Colorado. She returns as a major contributor to the defense from a season ago. She played and started in 13 games last season while playing in over 83 minutes per contest. She even recorded her first collegiate assist last season in the win over Thiel. With the season a week away, we highlight one of the PAC Players to Watch today.
What are you looking forward to most about the upcoming season?
Parker: I am most looking forward to one last season with the girls and meeting all the freshmen.
What is your most memorable moment at Franciscan throughout your career?
Parker: Surprising my best friends in Austria for Thanksgiving last fall
What are your plans after graduating from Franciscan?
Parker: I plan on working as a nurse post-grad.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?
Parker: My parents have had the greatest impact on my life, especially in raising me in the Catholic faith and enabling opportunities for me to encounter the Lord!
What is the best piece of advice that you can give to the incoming freshmen at Franciscan?
Parker: Get involved! There are so many opportunities to grow as a person, especially through athletics, household, and mission, and can lead you to some of the best friendships.
