How It Happened
The Barons are fresh off their big win early in the week and travel to take on Otterbein who has gone against the likes of John Carroll, Messiah, and Oberlin. This women's team has a history of rising up to the challenge of difficult opponents.
Otterbein took a quick 1-0 lead in the 4'. The Barons recalibrated and staved off the Otterbein attack for the rest of the half. The opponents scored another one a few minutes after the second half began to go up 2-0, and it wasn't until the 75' off a penalty kick that
Teaghan Elmore sank for the Barons to come back within striking distance. From that goal the Barons out shot Otterbein 3-1, but they were unable to convert those chances.
Inside the Numbers
- the Barons were out shot 17-10
- Callie made 4 saves and picked up her first YC
