How It Happened
The Barons traveled to Grove City, Pa to face the Grove City College Wolverines in the PAC semifinals. The #4 seed Barons tied the #1 seed Wolverines in the regular season at home. In that game, the Wolverines took a late 2-0 lead and celebrated the impending victory a little too soon allowing the Barons to come back and score two quick goals to draw the game.
Last night, the Wolverines didn't make the same mistake twice. They held firm control of the ball all game and consistently pressured the defense with the game shot differential of 27-8. There was no late comeback for the Barons this time and they fell to the higher seed 0-6.
That concludes their 2026 PAC season. However, they are qualified for an ECAC tournament bid and will wait for a potential invite announcement next week.
