Aaron Heinlein and Christopher Yvars picked up their first doubles win of the 2026 calendar year, in a tough battle at #1. The Yellow Jackets were able to win the other two matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles play.

Singles
The singles matches were all competitive, but the Barons were not able to get on the board. David Bourdelais lost his first set at #3, but then won the second set. He fell in a heartbreaker, by a score of 13-11 in the tiebreaker. Heinlein had a very close match at #1, but he fell 7-5 in consecutive sets. 

Next Up
Franciscan will return to action in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. They will play five matches while down there for Spring Break. Their first contest will be on Monday, March 9th against Immaculata. This is the first time that they will play each other in Men's Tennis.
