How It Happened
Franciscan Baseball ended their time in Florida for 2026 with a battle against Marywood on Friday morning. The Pacers were able to jump out to a 7-0 lead with crooked numbers in the second and third. The Barons got on the board in the fifth. Peffer drove in Killian, as the Barons had three consecutive hits, but then, Marywood got out of the jam. Marywood added on some insurance runs and secured the win.

At the Plate
- Six different Barons had a hit.
- Schiwall had the lone extra-base hit.
- Peffer stole a base

On the Mound  
- Sagun pitched three innings and took the loss.
- Evan Speicher pitched two innings while allowing one earned run.
- Zavier Zografos pitched a clean inning of relief

Up Next 
The Barons are scheduled to play Penn State Shenango on Tuesday at home. Franciscan is 4-0 all-time against them. They have played them twice in each of the last two seasons, but this will be the lone meeting between these teams in 2026.
