How It Happened
The long-awaited home opener final came for Franciscan, nearly a month later than originally scheduled. It was also the PAC opener. They hosted Westminster for a Saturday doubleheader.

Game one was much closer than the final score tells you. The Barons trailed 4-0, but then scored a run in the second, third, and fourth innings to set the score at 5-3. The Titans scored nine runs over the final three frames and took advantage of some defensive miscues to take a commanding lead. The Barons added a pair of runs in the eighth, as they were able to gather some offensive momentum to carry into game two.

At the Plate
- Each team had 15 hits.
- Lindia went 4-4 and scored two runs.
- Cook and Peffer each had three hits.
- Marquiss was a triple shy of the cycle

On the Mound
- Starter Romanyak was solid, allowing just three earned runs over five innings.
- Vincent Patts pitched two good innings with one earned run.
- Peter Schwindt, Evan Speicher, and John Cuva pitched the final two innings with just one earned run combined.

The Titans scored a pair of unearned runs in the eighth to tie it up at 4-4. With two outs in the ninth, the Titans were able to take their first lead of the game at 5-4. The Barons threatened in the ninth, but the Titans shut the door to take the sweep.
