Doubles
The #1 doubles team of Aaron Heinlein and Christopher Yvars put up a close fight against the Gators. They dropped their doubles match 4-6 in the single set. The Gators were able to clean up doubles play and earn the team point before heading to singles.

Singles
The top three hitters of Heinlein, Christopher Yvars, and David Bourdelais lost in two sets with each of them grabbing a few set points. While the #4,5, and 6 hitters lost in straight sets. 

The Gators were a big test for the Barons early in PAC play. The reigning 3-peat PAC champions are showing no sign of slowing down. The Barons are a mix of highly talented and new players. We are excited to see how the rest of the regular season shakes out.

Next Up
Franciscan will have a week between matches. They will host Saint Vincent at home on Tuesday in a pivotal, PAC matchup. The Barons are 4-4 all-time against the Bearcats, including a 4-3 win last season.
