How It Happened
    Game 1 against the Gators was a wild ride. The Barons took a commanding lead in the 2nd inning scoring seven runs. Little by little though their lead disappeared before the Gators went on top with six runs in the top of the 5th. Now down 12-8, the Barons responded by going 4-2 over the next two innings and closing the gap. They were well within striking distance going into the top of the 8th, but the Gators blanked the Barons and added five more runs of their own.
    At the conclusion of game 1, the looming weather was coming too soon and game 2 was postponed. The Barons then traveled up to Meadville on Sunday to finish their doubleheader.

At the Plate
-Peffer was 3 for 6 with 2 runs and 2 RBI's
-Bodie was 3 for 4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI
-Cook went 3 for 4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI

On the Mound  
-starter Cole pitched 4.0 innings allowing 7 earned runs on 8 hits, and tallied 2 strikeouts
-Vincent Patts pitched 0.2 innings allowing 4 earned runs on 3 hits
-Evan Speicher pitched 2.1 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 3 hits, and tallied 3 strikeouts
-Fletcher Bentley pitched 2.0 innings allowing 5 earned runs on 3 hits, and tallied 1 strikeout

How It Happened
    Game 2 was on an abnormally chilly day in Meadville. The Gators opened up the scoring in the top of the 1st and never ceded the lead. The Barons were in striking distance until the last couple of innings when the Gators tallied 11 total runs.
    
At the Plate
-Muggeridge was a perfect 2 for 2 at bat with 1 run and 1 RBI
-Nemmers, Cook, and Hunton all went 1 for 3 at bat

On the Mound  
-starter Zografos pitched 4.0 innings allowing 5 earned runs off 5 hits, and tallied 2 strikeouts
-Peter Schwindt pitched 0.0 innings allowing 2 earned runs off 1 hit
-David Kempf pitched 2.0 innings allowing 0 earned runs
-Xavier Franzonello pitched 1.0 innings allowing 4 earned runs off 4 hits, and tallied 1 strikeout
-Dax Clifton pitched 0.1 innings allowing 5 earned runs off 4 hits
-Ryan Huhlein pitched 0.2 innings allowing 1 earned run off 1 hit, and tallied 1 strikeout

The Barons are in the middle of a nine game home stretch. They will be back on Thursday, April 16th to take on Penn State Behrend at 4pm.
