The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the Men's Lacrosse weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and Franciscan had one player recognized. John Kirk (Fr. Rockville, Md. / The Heights School) was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Kirk leveled his season record to 4-4 with the win over Hiram on Wednesday. He recorded 12 saves in the 10-3 victory and held an .800 save percentage. Four of his stops came in the third quarter as the Barons outscored Hiram 6-0 in the period to pull away in the win. His .563 save percentage on the year is third-best in the PAC.

 This is the first PAC weekly award for Kirk and the second for the Barons this season. The Barons return to action at Westminster on Wednesday.
