Spring PAC All-Conference Awards

The Barons have enjoyed a competitive spring highlighted by numerous athletes earning PAC All-Conference honors. Each spring sport has at least one athlete that was named to an All-Conference team. If you missed any of the selection shows you can click on any one of the links below to see the PAC release. 

Softball

Emma Davis was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. Although she has played both infield and outfield in her career, all this season she anchored the outfield playing center field. At the plate, Davis batted .333 for the season with an OPS of .771. She registered 25 hits in just 75 at bats with three doubles and 6 RBI's.

PAC Sports Network Softball Selection Show

Baseball

The baseball team was led by Nick Peffer, Matteo Lindia, and Josiah Bodie. Each of them were recognized by the conference for their abilities on the field and awarded All-Conference Honors.
As a shortstop, Peffer was named PAC 2nd team All-Conference. Peffer batted .357 on the season with OPS of .867. He registered 51 hits, 13 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, and 25 RBI's.
Josiah Bodie was named an Honorable Mention outfielder. Bodie batted .336 with an OPS of .900. He tallied 43 hits, 12 doubles, 2 home runs, and 21 RBI's. 
Lindia played one season for the Barons and made it count. He led the team in batting avg. (.368), OPS (.940), hits (46), home runs (2), and RBI's (33). For his incredible year he was named as a Honorable Mentions first baseman.

PAC Sports Network Baseball Selection Show

Men's Lacrosse

The lacrosse team advanced to the PAC playoffs for the first time since joining the PAC in 2020. For their incredible success and journey up the PAC rankings numerous players were voted into the All-Conference teams, as well as, Coach Pete Rosaschi being named the PAC Coach of the Year.

Joseph James was named 1st Team All-Conference he is now a three-time 1st All-Conference selectee. This is the first time a Baron Lacrosse player has made that accomplishment.
The standout freshman midfielder Pio Kirk was recognized for his impact on both ends of play as a 2nd team All-PAC selection. P. Kirk was 2nd in the PAC in assists/game and 9th in points/game while also grabbing 65 ground balls.
John Kirk, Thomas LeBlanc, Michael Brox, and Ayden Burke were all named to the PAC Honorable Mention team. John Kirk was 2nd in the PAC in saves/game and 3rd in save percentage. LeBlanc led the PAC in caused turnovers/game. Brox was 5th in the PAC in caused turnovers/game. Burke cracked the top 10 in the PAC in goals, points, and shots per game. 
Luke Reimer was awarded in posthumous a special selection by unanimous vote as an Honorable Mention defender. Matthew 25:21-23; well done Luke.

PAC Sports Network Men's Lacrosse Selection Show

Men's Tennis

The Men's Tennis team once again qualified for the postseason as the PAC's #3 seed. Their success all year is highlighted by All-Conference honors going to Aaron Heinlein, Christopher Yvars, and David Bourdelais
Aaron was awarded 1st team honors in #1 Singles and #1 Doubles. The Barons top hitter was 10-8 on the year including a win over the Div. II West Liberty's top hitter and 8-1 in conference play. In Doubles, him and partner Yvars went 6-3.
Christopher Yvars was named 1st team All-Conference in #1 Doubles and Honorable Mention in #2 Singles. His Singles record for the season was 9-9 including a win over the Div. II West Liberty's 2nd hitter. In conference play he was 7-2.
Senior David Bourdelais earned Honorable Mention honors for his play at #3 Singles. Boudelais had a conference record of 5-4 helping his team make it to the PAC semifinals.

Track & Field

The Men's and Women's Track & Field team had an incredible outdoor season. They saw massive improvements across the board with PR's being set every weekend, multiple school records, and eight All-Conference honors going out. 
John Sicree is 1st team All-PAC for winning the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.53.
The Barons had two 2nd team All-PAC awards. Mariana Lavigne placed second in the Javelin throw with a distance of 36.66m, and the Women's 4x400m relay team consisting of Rebecca bolster, Lauren Dosch, Mary Kennedy, and Elizabeth Schmiesing placed 2nd with a time of 4:09.03.
Dosch also received an Honorable Mention award for placing third in the 400m, and Michael Bragg placed third in the steeplechase with a time of 9:51.14.

Thank you all for following and supporting the Barons this spring. It has been a very successful season by all standards. Congratulations to all of our athletes earning All-Conference awards for the recognition for their hard work and dedication to their sport.
