Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan men's and women's cross country released the 2026 schedule, which consists of six regular-season meets before the PAC Championship on October 31st.
The Barons will open up the season at Wright State in Dayton, Ohio on September 4th. On September 12th, they will compete at Bethany's course, followed by a meet at Cedarville on September 18th. The squads will next compete at Louisville on October 3rd, which will serve as a preview of the course to be used in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional this season, as well as at Muskingum the same day. On October 17th, the squads' final meet before the PAC Championship occurs at Oberlin.
The PAC Championship is scheduled to be ran at Canfield, Ohio this season. The women's teams from W&J and Geneva split the first-place honors last season, and the Geneva took home the men's championship last year.
The Barons hope to make a run to the National Championship this season, which would be held in Northfield, Minn. on November 21st. To qualify, the teams will run in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet on November 14th.
