Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan Women's Volleyball released its 2026 schedule on Thursday, which consists of 24 regular season contests before the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament begins in November. The Barons are looking to build off of its 12-13 season last season under Head Coach Jen Hickey.

The Barons will begin 2026 with a scrimmage set for August 26th against Point Park at home, with the official regular season home opener set for September 1st against Penn State Beaver at the Finnegan Fieldhouse. 

As like last season, the Barons are in the South Division, however, Franciscan will only play each PAC opponent once this year, rather than playing its fellow South schools twice. Franciscan's first PAC contest is set for September 23rd on the road against W&J, with its first home PAC match on October 7th against Waynesburg. The squad will also host Saint Vincent, Hiram, Westminster, and Geneva at Finnegan Fieldhouse through conference play, as well as playing PAC debutant Saint Francis in a non-conference affair on October 21st. Franciscan will go on the road to compete against PAC schools Chatham, Grove City, Thiel, Allegheny, and Bethany,

The regular season concludes with Senior Day against Westminster on Saturday, November 7th. 

The top four teams from each division following the regular season will compete in an eight-team single-elimination conference tournament. The tournament will follow the format outlined below.

Tuesday (11/10) Quarterfinals: Game A: No. 4 North at No. 1 South; Game B: No. 4 South at No. 1 North; Game C: No. 3 North at No. 2 South; Game D: No. 3 South at No. 2 North

Thursday (11/12) Semifinals: Game E: Winner Game A vs Winner Game D; Game F: Winner Game B vs Winner Game C

Saturday (11/14) Championship: Game G: Winner Game E vs Winner Game F at 4pm
