Meet Information
Race/Location: Bethany College Invitational; Bethany, W. Va.

Short Story: On a warm but beautiful morning, the Franciscan Barons ran in their second meet of the season on Saturday, with some athletes running in their first collegiate race. Although the feedback from most athletes suggested that a slightly cooler weather and a few less hills would have been more ideal, the runners all made it through with maximal efforts and minimal injuries.

Race Highlights: Overall, the Barons finished 7th on the women's side with 192 points, while the men's team scored 144 points to place sixth. A couple of runners had a very good race, including freshman Charlotte Gauntner, who ran her first college race and finished 39th overall and first on the team. Sophomore Callum Wallenfang started on the end but worked his way up to a placement of 28th overall, and second on the team.
