The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the women's volleyball weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and Franciscan had sophomore
Logan Hickey honored (Richmond, Ohio / Homeschooled) with the PAC Offensive Player of the Week title.
Hickey totaled 32 kills while hitting .316 and averaging 4.11 kills per set across the Barons' 3-0 week. In Tuesday's sweep at Carlow, Hickey recorded 13 kills with just one error on 21 swings to hit .571 for the match, while also adding four digs, one ace and one solo block in the victory. In Saturday's first match against Salem (WV), the sophomore posted a double-double with 12 kills and 18 digs, while adding three service aces, one assist and one solo block. Hickey closed out the weekend with another 12-kill, 13-dig performance in the sweep of La Roche, adding three assists, one ace and one solo block. She also reached the 500-career-kill milestone during the week and currently leads the PAC with 4.09 kills per set.
Franciscan volleyball continues action tomorrow with a road match at Pitt-Greensburg. The event will start at 6 PM.
