Meet Information

Race/Location: All-Ohio InterCollegiate Challenge; Elvin King Cross Country Course, Cedarville, Ohio

Short Story: After a four-hour-long bus ride, the Barons arrived at Cedarville, Ohio for the All-Ohio Championship. Out of 24 schools and many clubs competing, the Women finished 13th with 384 points, while the Men finished 16th with 526 points.

Race Highlights: Although most would agree that the Elvin King Cross Country Course is fairly mild on its uphills and downhills compared to other Ohio races, the runners all faced their own uphills and downhills. Despite a slight bloodshed from her heel during the entirety of her race, junior Emily Maag did not let that stop her from running her hardest. Maag finished first on the team, and 80th overall. In this season of sickness, freshman Oliver Schartner finished fourth on the team and 229th overall with his lost voice and ongoing cold.
