The Latest

- With six games behind them, the Barons won its first game against the Chatham University Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Winning this conference game puts the Barons at fourth place in the conference right now.

- During the first 60 minutes of the game, Andrew Goduti scored twice, with a goal in each half, followed by a game winning goal from Michael Peppiatt in the 85th minute. The tension built when the Cougars started catching up within four minutes near the end of the game, scoring two of its own. During the last two minutes, the Barons held on and snatched the win.

Testing the Titans

- After eight games this season, the Titans have a record of four wins, two losses, and two ties. This gives them a standing of second place in the conference.

- Last Wednesday, Westminster defeated Allegheny College by a score of 2-1.

- With 10 points won, five goals, and nine shots on goal, Alexis Bennetot leads his team this season. His teammate Kohen Salazar leads in scoring game winners with two.

Rising Through the Ranks

- Senior Michael Peppiatt scored his first game winner for the past two seasons, leading the Barons to win its first conference game this season.

- During the last game, Aidan Mahony assisted Andrew Goduti with his second shot. He is tied for second on the team with shots on goal with five.

Special Notes

- This will be the second straight year the team will be playing on the road during Homecoming weekend. Last year, the squad was in Pittsburgh playing Chatham, winning 1-0. 

- Since 2012, Franciscan has played against Westminster 14 times. This includes eight wins, five losses, and one tie.
