How It HappenedÂ
  On Saturday, the Barons traveled to New Wilmington, Pa to face a familiar foe in Westminster. The Baron-Titan matchup seems to always be a deciding match for a #1 seed, a postseason match, or a record-breaking match with two Baron goalies setting save records vs the Titans. Before Saturday, the Titans stood just in front of the Barons, but the 1-0 road win has pushed us past them and into second place. Thankfully, it didn't require a record-setting goalkeeper performance, but Giguere had yet another fine game grabbing five saves to extend both the undefeated start to the season and the now six game shutout streak.Â
  We spoke to Coach Miller after an earlier game this season and asked him what he wants this teams identity to be. These women are shaping into exactly the kind of team coach had envisioned. They play a tough, physical game that can make them a contender in any match they face this season.
