2019: Played and started in all 19 games for the Barons ...
was named third team all-conference goalie. Gaughan led the AMCC in save percentage at .868, goals against average at 0.73 and shutouts with 6. He started in every game this year for the Barons, including 13 wins. Gaughan had a season high 9 saves at Westminster in a non-conference 2-1 win. The junior has became the all-time wins leader at Franciscan with his last win against against D'Youville, now with 25 wins with a year left to add on more.
2018: He played in 20 games including 20 starts this season. In his 1694:31 minutes, he made 87 saves and had a save percentage of 0.763. He recorded 12 wins for the Barons this season.
2017: Did not play in a game this season due to injury.
Prior to Franciscan: Team Captain of Hopkinton High School Varsity team.
Personal: Son of George and Meg. Majoring in Biology. Why Franciscan? "The community is amazing and it’s a great place to grow." Brian enjoys watching Chris do dishes in his free time. He plans on living in a van and becoming the greatest little league coach of all time after graduation. He is a member of In His Image Household on campus. His patron saint is St. John Paul II.
