• The Short Story: The Lady Barons rallied from behind for a 27-25 win the third set but ultimately fell to the Golden Tornadoes, 3-1, after a 25-15 fourth set loss.

How it Happened

• The Lady Barons took a quick 4-1 lead in the second set but Geneva worked its way back in and took a 5-4 lea, one which they would not surrender. After the Lady Barons pulled back to within one at 14-13, the Golden Tornadoes worked a 21-13 lead to take control of the set and eventually won 25-15.
• Franciscan trailed 12-10 midway through the third set but came back to tie it at 12-12 and take the lead at 13-12. After a back and forth affair in which neither team took a significant lead, Franciscan prevailed 27-25 thanks to a Geneva attacking error and a kill from Marykate Bodien.
