All-Time Series Against Medaille
- Franciscan is 2-22 against Medaille all-time including a loss to them earlier this season.
- Last month Medaille came to Steubenville and beat Franciscan 95-82. Jonathan Smith and Kirk Hawkins had huge days for the Mavericks as they scored 25 and 24 points. Smith also pulled in 14 rebounds for the double double. Sean Hickey would score 26 points for the Barons, but it would not be enough, as the Barons could not stop the Maverick's offense.
- Franciscan's last win came in January of last season in Steubenville. The Barons won 72-69 in the overtime game. Franciscan dominated the first half, as they held Medaille to only 18 points, but the Mavericks would win the 2nd half by 13 points to send it to overtime. Matt Trent had a double double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jonathan Smith & Norman Hughes each scored 14 points to lead the Mavericks.Â
Scouting Franciscan
- Sophomore Travis Lien has had a very strong semester of basketball, as he is 6th in the AMCC with 16.7 ppg.
- Junior Drazen Frankovitch had a career game at the perfect time, as he scored a career high 19 points in the win against Penn St. Altoona.Â

Scouting Medaille
- Medaille starts four starters that average double figure points. They are lead by the big man inside, Jonathan Smith. He is second in the AMCC with 18.6 ppg and 10.5 rpg.
- Kirk Hawkins leads the backcourt, as he is averaging 18.4 ppg and 4.1 apg in his 14 games this season. He has scored 20+ points in seven of those contests, but only six points in his last game against Pitt.-Greensburg.
- Medaille scores the most points in the conference at 83.4 ppg, but they allow the third most points at 80.9 ppg.
