How It Happened
Franciscan Men's Soccer team improved their PAC record to 5-0 with a win over Thiel on Wednesday.
The Barons were on the attack early , as they were able to get a handful of quality in the first fifteen minutes. Sebastian Koehler would find the back of the net on an assist from Jonathon Schriner a little over twenty minutes in to set the score at 1-0. Franciscan would be able to add on just five minutes later. Mikey Irvin would score his second goal of the year on an assist from JP Bobak.
Franciscan would not be satisfied with the 2-0 halftime lead, and they would keep up the offensive attack in the second half. Eight minutes into the second half Jonathan Schriner would score his first goal of the night on a pass from Mikey Irvin. Franciscan would keep up the attack, as Justin Fioramonti would bury his first goal of the season to make it 4-0 in the 61st minute.
