Race Highlights
Franciscan Men's Cross Country continued their successful season with strong showing in the 42 team field in Louisville. Liam Galligan continues to improve, as he posted a time of 24:33.9 in the 8K race. He was just 22 seconds of the individual winner, Simon Heys from Wilmongton (OH). Next to finish for the Barons was grauste student, Mark Borek, with a time of 25:54.3. Danny Donovan finished just outside the top 100 runners in this large 341 runner field with a time of 26:35.8. Miguel Daez and Conal Delaney finished right next ot each other in 160th and 161st places. That gave the Barons 497 team points to place 15th out of 42 teams. Chatham placed 41st and Geneva had a few runners compete, but no team score.

Up Next
Franciscan will have a week off from competition, as they prepare for the Intra-Regional Rumble at Oberlin on October 16th. This will be another highly competitive field for the Barons to show their talents outside of our conference. In 2019 the men placed 16th out of 39 teams at this meet.
