How It Happened
The Barons got back above .500 as they beat Chatham 4-2 on the road Tuesday night. Junior forward Mikey Irvin would lead the way with his first career hat trick, as the Cougars would not have an answer for his offensive skill set. Sebastian Koehler also added a goal in the victory.

The Barons would not waste much time, as they were able to take a 1-0 lead on a goal by Mikey Irvin in the 11th minute on an assist by Sebastian Koehler. Koehler would add a goal of his own later in the half to notch the score at 2-0 Franciscan. The Barons would out shoot the Cougars 11-6 in the first half, as they would take the 2-0 lead into the half.

Just less than three minutes into the second half, Liam Nagle would draw a yellow card that would result in a penalty kick for the Cougars. Ryan Tahbaz would find the back of the net, to set the score at 2-1. The Cougars were not done, as ten minutes later, Leandro Nasso would find the back of the net for an equalizer and set the score at 2-2 with a little over thirty minutes to play.

Then Mikey Irvin would find the back of the net again, as a cross would come into the box, JP Bobak would then find the streaking Irvin who booted it past the Chatham goalkeeper. Irvin's second goal of the night would give Franciscan a 3-2 lead. Irvin would not be done as with just under five minutes to play he would find the lower left hand corner of the net with a rocket from them right corner of the box. Chris St. George would set it up with a beautiful ball down the field to the speedy Irvin.
