How It Happened
The Barons fall in a PAC Conference matchup to Westminster Saturday afternoon at home.
Nick Iregui opened up scoring for Westminster in the first half on an assist by Sam Accordino. That would be the lone goal of the first half, as Westminster out shot Franciscan 6-2. The Titans also earned seven corners, to the Barons two, as action would be mostly played in the Titans offensive end.
Iregui would add his second goal of the game in the 81st minute to give the Titans a 2-0 lead. Joseph Fioramanti would score his first goal of the season with less than five minutes to play in a last minute push by the Barons. Franciscan was not able to find the equalizer, as they would fall, 2-1 at home.
Inside the Numbers
- Joseph Fioramonti scored his first goal of the season.
- Mikey Irvin and Nick Miller each had one shot on goal.
- Each team had two yellow cards, and Westminster had a red card, that resulted in them playing a man down for the final 10 minutes.
- Brian Gaughan had six saves.
