Short Story: Five Barons finish in the Top 10 to win Fisher Invite by 11 points over St. Vincent

Race Highlights
Six PAC schools gathered in New Wilmington on Friday evening for the Fisher Invite (5K) on the campus of Westminster. The Barons picked up where they left off last season, as they won another meet with a team score of 28 points. Reigning PAC Runner of the Year Liam Galligan led the way with a 1st place finish with his time of 15:30.96. George Kaftan placed in fourth, just behind a pair of runners from St. Vincent.

Danny Donovan posted Franciscan's third best time with a 16:06.82 to place sixth overall. Miguel Daez and Mark Borek placed 8th and 9th to give Franciscan five runners in the top five. Freshman Conal Delaney completed his strong week of competition with a 19th place finish, as he was Franciscan's sixth best finisher. Sixteen Franciscan runners in total competed in the event.
