How It Happened
Jax Mautone was on point between the pipes to start the game. Right from the kickoff Bethany came at the Baron defenders who were without Liam Nagle. The defense faced 7 shots and 3 corner kicks to start the game compared to the lone Nick Miller shot in the first minute. The Barons first bit of action was a yellow card to Joshua Atkinson in the 33rd minute. Just before halftime, Nick Miller corralled a rebounded shot from Augustine Rubino and beat the goalkeeper. The Barons went into halftime leading 1-0.
Midway through the second half Bethany tied it up. 5 yellow cards were handed out in the second half due to the tightly contested match between these rivals. Bethany took 4 of the cards and Augustine Rubino took the fifth for his first yellow card of his career.
