Steubenville, Ohio: The Men's Lacrosse Team announced their 2023 schedule, which consists of 15 regular season games starting on February 25th. The Barons are entering their fifth year in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
The Barons begin the season on February 25th at Hiram, the same school they started the 2022 season against. They then have a week off before hosting Wilmington on March 4th for the home opener. The Barons have seven non-conference games this season with five being on the road. Besides Wilmington, the other home matchup will be against Marietta on March 22nd under the lights at Trinity Health System Field.
Starting March 25th Franciscan enters their eight game PAC conference schedule which consists of four home matchups this season. Westminster, Bethany, Grove City, and Allegheny will all be coming to Steubenville this season. It will be their first matchup in school history against Allegheny, who is new to the conference this season. Franciscan hopes that they can earn their first trip to the PAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament which will begin on May 3rd with semifinal matchups.
