How It Happened
The Barons took the field with a very different looking lineup than games past. If you weren't paying close attention you wouldn't have noticed. The Barons came out dominating the ball and going up 2-0 before 10 minutes. The Barons maintained their dominance for the entirety of the half going into the locker room leading 3-1
In the second half, the Titans came out surprising everyone refusing to go down without a fight. They cut the Barons lead to 3-2 with 13 minutes remaining. The Barons quickly answered back to bring their lead back to two goals, but the Titans once again scored to go back within one with 7 minutes left. The Barons slammed the door shut and prevented any Titan possessions on the attack for the remainder of regulation. That win puts the Barons tied for 3rd with 7 PAC points.

Who's Next?
Franciscan will now begin a series of three straight PAC road games. It kickoffs on Saturday at Washington & Jefferson. The Barons are 5-8-1 all-time against the Presidents with wins in their last two matchups. Last season in Steubenville, Jonathan Schriner scored the first goal and assisted on the game-winner by Nick Cross in a 2-1 win. W&J is battling to stay in the playoff picture and will surely be hungry for a win on Saturday.
