How It Happened
The Barons were in a heated contest in Washington that ended in a 2-2 tie.
Lucas Cross had a repeat box score from Wednesday's game against the Titans. He repeated his 4 SOG and two goal game to lead the Barons to a tie keeping them in 3rd place and a point ahead of Grove City.
Cross lead the night off with a goal in the 19th minute immediately proceeding a yellow card restart for the Barons. The Presidents' scored a few minutes later to tie the game up, but Cross put the Barons back on top just before the halfway point.
Early in the second half the Presidents' tied the game back up. The remaining 35 minutes became a slug fest with each team trading shots and constant field flipping.

Who's Next?
Franciscan will take the field next in Pittsburgh at Chatham on Wednesday. The Barons are 2-1 all-time against the Cougars with a win last season at home.Nick Miller and Jonathan Schriner each found the back of the net in the second half to win 2-0 in that win. Chatham has ten points thus far in PAC play, so this will be a pivotal matchup as both teams are trying to climb up the standings to secure a playoff spot.
