Short Story:Â Franciscan broke a couple more school records while several runners posted personal best times.

Highlights for the Women
- Alana Bradford posted a time of 8.51 seconds in the 60 meter dash, a new personal best and one-hundredth of a second off the school record. Victoria Unnerstall posted a time of 9.14 seconds.
- Angelina Toole posted a time of 6:14.85 in the one mile run.
- Clara Symington improved her own school record in the 400m, as she posted a time of 1:00.79 to place 16th out of 46 runners. Rebecca Bolster ran a time of 1:05.82.Â
- In the 800m run, Jessica Campbell posted a time of 2:24.57 to break her own school record and to place 22nd out of 56 runners.Â
- Symington kept up the strong day with another school record, this time in the 200m dash. She posted a time of 27.28 seconds which is currently third fastest in the PAC this season. Alana Bradford ran this event in a time of 28.77, and Rebecca Bolster ran a time of 28.93.
- Claire Walters ran a season-best time in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:25.07. That is the third fastest time in the conference this season.Â
- The women's 4x400 relay posted their second fastest time of the season with a time of 4:28.59. The team consisted of Alana Bradford, Rebecca Bolster, Jessica Campbell, and Victoria Unnerstall.Â
- In the long jump, Alana Bradford tied her personal best distance of 4.34m (14' 3.25").
Highlights for the Men
- Miguel Daez was the fastest of three Barons to run the 5K. His time of 15:34.08 placed him 10th among 37 runners. Conal Delaney placed 16th with a time under 16 minutes. David Di Nardo placed 21st, and Aidan Kay placed 34th.
- Alexander Blose ran a time of 7.43 seconds to place 39th in the 60 meter dash out of 55 runners. Antonio Santoro and Isaac Heard also ran under eight seconds.Â
- David Cappello led the way for the Barons in the mile, as he posted a time of 4:26.35. Nathaniel Tokarsky ran a time of just under a time six minutes, and Francis Langley posted a time of 6:20.59.
- Joseph Rohde became the first Baron to run a 400m in under 50 seconds, as he ran a 49.99 to place seventh to beat several Division I and II runners.Â
- David Cappello posted a great time of 1:56.41 in the 800 meter run to place 12th out of 57 runners. That time was a new personal best for him.Â
- Alexander Blose, Aidan Flannery, Nathaniel Tokarsky, and Isaac Heard combined to run a time of 3:40.97 in the 4x400 meter relay.Â
- The Barons ran the Distance Medley Relay (DMR) for the first time this season. The team of Conal Delaney, David Cappello, David Di Nardo, and Miguel Daez ran a time of 10:54.80. That is currently the second fastest in the conference.Â
- In field events, Nicholas Brass improved upon his school record in shot put with a best throw of 12.42m (40' 9"). Aidan Flannery tied his school record with a best jump of 1.80m (5' 10.75") in the high jump. Alexander Blose became the first Baron to successfully clear in the pole vault, as he registered a best performance of 3.20m (10' 6").Â
Up Next
The Barons will get right back after it on Friday at Muskingum. This will be the first time the Barons will compete on Muskingum's brand new indoor 200m track. Field events start at 4 pm with running events to begin at 5 pm. This will be their last meet before the PAC Indoor Track & Field Championship which will be on February 23rd in Youngstown, Ohio.
