The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced their Baseball weekly awards on Monday evening, and Franciscan senior, Jacob Watson (Arlington, Texas | Nolan Catholic), earned Pitcher of the Week honors for his performance last week.

Watson was nearly perfect in a seven-inning shutout on Sunday, as the Barons blanked Hood College 1-0 in the first game of a doubleheader. He didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning and then retired nine straight batters. Watson faced just two batters over the minimum in allowing two hits and walking only one while striking out two. He needed just 89 pitches to finish the seven-inning complete game.

This is the third time he has earned this honor over his career. He looks to help lead the Barons this coming Friday, as they take on Christendom in a doubleheader in Virginia.
