Highlights for the Women
- Alana Bradford posted a personal -best time of 8.52 seconds in the 60m dash to place 12th out of 31 participants. Rebecca Bolster posted a time of 8.84 seconds.
- In the 60m hurdles, Clara Symington placed 18th with a time of 9.86 seconds in the field of 38 runners.
- Claire Walters ran a time of 5:23.19 in the mile in her first time running this event in a Franciscan uniform. That time is the third fastest in program history. Jessica Campbell ran a time of 5:47.39 to place 47th, while Angelina Toole and Emma O'Keefe posted times of just over six minutes.
- Victoria Unnerstall was the fastest Baron in the 400m, as she posted a time of 1:08.17. Teammate Alana Bradford was just a half second behind her.
- In the 800m, Jessica Campbell placed 46th with a time of 2:34.76 in the field of 60 runners.Â
- The women's team would break a school record in the final event. The team of Rebecca Bolster, Clara Symington, Claire Walters, and Alana Bradford combined to post a time of 4:27.76 in the 4x400 meter relay.Â
- In the field, Alana Bradford jumped 4.34m in the long jump. That distance is a new personal best, and the second-longest jump in school history.Â
Highlights for the Men
- Joseph Rohde kept up his record-breaking indoor season, by posting a time of 7.18 seconds in the 60-meter dash to break a nine-year-old school record. That time is the fourth fastest in the conference in just the first attempt of his career in this event.
- Miguel Daez placed 32nd in the mile with a time of 4:29.56 to lead Franciscan runners in this event. Conal Delaney placed 42nd and  David Di Nardo 45th in the 75-man race.
- In the 400m, David Cappello was the fastest Baron today with a time of 51.40 to place 31st out of 71 runners. Francisco Tona and Matthew York also posted times in this event.
- Aidan Flannery improved his own school record in the high jump, as he jumped a season-best 1.80m (5' 10.75"). That mark is currently T4th in the PAC this season.
- Nicholas Brass has a best throw of 11.92m in the shot put, and Tyson Smith threw one 7.88m.
- Ryan Ozymy kept up his success this season by posting a personal best time of 1:56.22 in the 800m run. That time was good enough to break David Cappello's school record that he set last week at YSU. Nathaniel Tokarsky posted a time of 2:07.58 to place 54th in this event.
- Miguel Daez and Patrick Veazey ran in the 3000m with Daez posting a time of 9:33.05.
- In the final running event, the 4x400 relay, the Barons set another school record with a time of 3:25.41. The team of Joseph Rohde, David Cappello, Ryan Ozymy, and John Sicree combined to beat the previous indoor record by nearly five seconds. That time is currently the fastest in the PAC this season. The Barons had a second relay team of Nathaniel Tokarsky, Dwayne Gethard, Aidan Flannery, and Alexander Blose combine to run a time of 3:46.15
Up Next
The Barons remain busy as they travel to Geneva, Ohio next weekend to compete in the Spire Collegiate Indoor Games. This will be another tremendous test of many of the best schools in the region at an amazing facility. After this meet, there will just be one more at Muskingum before the PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 23rd.Â
