Highlights for the Women

• Clara Symington ran a time of 59.42 seconds in the 400m to become the first women at Franciscan to run this event in under a minute. That time was good enough to win in the field of 15 runners. Jessica Campbell was not far behind with a time of 1:01.73.
• Brigid Mack did not improve upon her season-best throw in discus, but did take home the win with the longest throw of the entire field at 40.23.
• Symington tied the school record tim eof 27.32 in the 200m to place sixth.

Highlights for the Men

• Nicholas Brass placed 7th in the shot put with a best throw of 13.40m. That is his best throw of the season, and third best in outdoor history at Franciscan. 
• Isaac Turner had a best throw of 34.63m in the javelin.
•  David Di Nardo took third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:14.84. That time would be the third fastest in school history. Teammate David Cappello was not far behind him in seventh place. 
• Joseph Rohde placed sixth with a time of 11.61 in the 100m.
• Ryan Ozymy claimed second place, as he was one of two athletes to run a sub-50 second time in the 400m. He also ran the second-fastest time in program history in the 200m, as he placed fourth with a time of 22.47 seconds.

Up Next
The Barons will take time off for Easter, as they do not compete until April 15h at Thiel. This will be their final tune-up before competing in the PAC Championship at the end of the month.
