Short Story: Franciscan had four athletes compete with Claire Walters leading the way as she climbs up significantly in the National rankings. 

Highlights for the Women

• Claire Walters showed up big under the lights in the 1500m which started a little after 9 p.m. She shattered her school record time by more than 11 seconds. She placed seventh in a very fast field with a time of 4:29.98. As of the conclusion of the race on Friday evening, that would be the 14th fastest time in the nation this year in NCAA Division III.
• Jessica Campbell broke her own school record time in the 800m by over two seconds. She posted a time of 2:17.83 to place eighth in this talented field. 
• Clara Symington placed eighth out of the second to last heat in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.80.

Highlights for the Men

• Ryan Ozymy further improved his school record time in the 400m to continue his amazing season. He posted a time of 48.53 seconds to place fifth in the field of 28 runners. 

Up Next
The Barons will have one more shot to improve their times to qualify for the National Championship. The top 22 in each event will make the trip to Rochester, New York for the National Championship on May 25th-27th. Franciscan will first head to Mount Union next week, right where they started the indoor season back in December.
