How It Happened
The forwards and midfielders were too dominate for the Yellow Jackets to have a chance. For long stretches of minutes the ball never left the attacking end for the Barons. When the Yellow Jackets would force a turnover, the midfielders quickly gained control of the ball again preventing the Jackets from flipping the field.
Johnathon Schriner led the scoring off with feeder from Rubino. Late in the first half, Ryan Miller sent a long ball up the right side and found Joe St. George in the inside the box. St. George capitalized on the great pass and put the Barons up 2-0 before half.
Lucas Cross scored early in the second half off a Schriner pass. Then, to round scoring out, St. George scored his second goal of the game and put the Barons up 4-0. That last goal was a telling story for the Jackets goalkeeper. Schriner put a ball on net that was deflected into Kolbe Rice. Rice took a quick touch across the net to find St. George on the left side. St. George shot the ball back to the right side of the net to score. This 1-2-3 play saw the Jacket goalkeeper scramble from one side of the net to the other twice.

Who's Next?
Franciscan will continue PAC play on the road Saturday at Grove City. The Barons are 1-5 all-time against the Wolverines, as Grove City has gotten the better of them in their last four matchups. The Wolverines were picked to win the conference by the PAC coaches in the Preseason Poll, but they were unable to pick up a win in non-conference play. Instead they tied four games while losing a pair.
